*PRE-ORDER* SEBA & PARADOX 'CONSCIOUS/LIFE' 12"

Seasoned producers Seba & Paradox drop their new two track single ‘Conscious’/‘Life’ (feat. Sapele) on the legendary R&S Records label.

The new release marks a meeting of significant electronic music histories: Seba & Paradox have built extensive catalogues across labels including Good Looking, Moving Shadow, Reinforced, Hospital and Metalheadz, while R&S has played a foundational role in European techno and electronic music since the 1980s. Swedish producer Sebastian Ahrenberg, AKA Seba, emerged in the early 1990s through LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, before establishing his own Secret Operations imprint. British producer Dev Pandya, AKA Paradox, began his career alongside DJ Trax as Mixrace, debuting on Moving Shadow in 1992 before recording as Paradox and Alaska. With releases spanning Reinforced, Hospital and Metalheadz, Seba and Paradox have collaborated for more than two decades, establishing one of drum & bass’s most enduring creative partnerships. With ‘Conscious’/‘Life’, their longstanding partnership now arrives on R&S Records, with vocalist Sapele joining the pair on ‘Life’. Crafting out two contrasting productions; Conscious’ hits hard, with precision breaks cutting through a dark and dubby underbelly for a heads down, bone rattling experience, whilst ‘Life’ forges a lighter touch, as Sapele’s vocal glides over jazzy tones, live flute courtesy of Pawel Kobak and deft, liquid beats.
