Returns
If you are not happy with your purchase, you may return in-stock items within 14 days of delivery, provided they are returned in the same unused and mint condition in which they were received.
Please contact us before sending any items back so we can assist with the return.
Unless an item is confirmed to be faulty, customers are responsible for return postage costs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, particularly where part of an order has been kept.
Refunds will be issued once the returned items have been received and inspected.
Vinyl Condition
All records sold through our website are sourced directly from independent artists, record labels and distributors, and are supplied to us in assumed mint condition unless otherwise stated.
Due to the nature of vinyl manufacturing, records may occasionally show light cosmetic marks, paper scuffs or sleeve marks from inner sleeves or the pressing process. These are common during production and are not considered faults unless they affect playback.
If you believe an item you received is genuinely faulty, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
Shop Floor / Last Copy Items
Planet Wax is a physical record shop as well as an online store, and occasionally the final copy of an item available online may be a shop floor copy.
Shop floor copies may have been handled by customers or used for in-store listening, and the sleeve or vinyl may show minor cosmetic signs of handling.
Where possible we will inspect and clean shop floor copies before shipping. These copies are still considered new items unless otherwise stated.
Minor cosmetic marks that do not affect playback are not considered faults.
If you would like to confirm the condition of the final copy before ordering, please feel free to contact us and we will happily check it for you. If we identify anything notable, we will hold your order and contact you before dispatch to confirm you are happy for us to proceed.
Shipping Issues
Planet Wax cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages once they have been shipped.
All orders are sent using tracked shipping services, and we are happy to assist with investigating any delivery issues with the courier where necessary.
