*PRE-ORDER* JAN LOUP 'VENGUS (5 HEX)' 12"

Jan Loup's ‘Vengus (5 hex)’ EP on Oscilla Sound is a cycle of five sonic spells. Forged from heavy bass pressure, fractured rhythms, and glitch-laden atmospheres, the incantation unfolds as an alchemical ritual, each track embodying a liberating spell that recasts a dark emotional state.

Rooted in the principles of alchemy, the record explores the transformation of emotional darkness into creative force. Jan Loup embraces harsh emotional forces as the raw material for creation, transmuting destructive energy into something vital. Embodying an act of catharsis, each spell serves as both an invocation and a release, moving through states of fury, anger, and uncertainty to uncover what remains once they dissolve. ‘Vengus (5 hex)’ traces this process through five rituals of dissolution and transmutation, each one marking a stage in the journey from darkness toward essence.
