The remix keeps the core identity of the track intact while rebuilding the rhythm with modern production weight — bringing the tune back into today’s dancefloor context without losing the character that made it stand out in the first place.\n\nFlex’s place in jungle history is closely tied to De Underground Records, the East London shop run by his brother Mickey. During the 1990s the shop became an important hub for DJs, producers and MCs at the centre of the emerging jungle scene. Artists including DJ Randall and MC Fats were regular figures there, making it one of the key spaces where the culture developed and spread.\n\nWith RIDT1219, that history feeds directly into the present.
