It is another standout for Mutual Rytm's Versus series, which has already made an\nimpact with two previous EPs from Regent and Chontane and Klint and Hemka. This third release subtly\nevolves the sound into more hypnotic and atmospheric worlds that bring fresh perspectives to the series.\nBulgarian-born, Norway-based Kameliia's music is rooted in cinematic, melancholic and hypnotic sounds.\nShe translates deep emotions into immersive sonic landscapes inspired by nature, particularly the moon, the\nsky and their atmospheric qualities. Along with Berlin-based Spaniard BLANKA, she has released on labels\nsuch as SK_Eleven, while BLANKA also co-founded Room Trax and draws heavily on the human voice, which\nshe considers one of the most personal and intimate instruments. She uses it to create an emotional, direct\nconnection with the dance floor, with a clean, minimal, timeless style rich in emotion.\nKameliia opens up with the weighty kicks and eerie atmospheres of 'Bird In A Cage' before 'Red Sky' layers\ntaut kicks and icy synths into a hypnotic forward charge full of depth and darkness, then 'Lightness' has an\nunsettling and paranoid lead hanging in the air next to vocal fragments and haunting pads.
